Installation

A professional installation is essential for the proper functioning of the system. Therefore, let the installation be taken care of by one of our experienced technicians. We will come to a location of your choice in the Netherlands or Belgium and carefully handle the installation for a fixed low rate per unit.

If you prefer to do the installation yourself, this is possible with the TrackJack GO! and OTM 3. Just make sure to follow one of the connection schemes below.

Installation by TrackJack

There are three different ways to install the TrackJack.

  • The most common way is to install the system for theft and tamper protection. The TrackJack is then installed on the positive, negative, and switched positive (if available).
  • If you will be using driver identification, an ID reader will be installed which then recognizes which driver has driven (by scanning the ID key).
  • If you prefer a simple and quick installation, the Entry-level installation is sufficient. The Entry-level installation is possible for passenger cars, vans, and trucks which are equipped with an OBD-2 port.

By using an OBD connection cable, the system can be connected to the OBD port of a vehicle.

The OBD port can be located in various places, usually bottom left of the steering wheel. Can’t find the OBD port? Search for the location of the OBD port using the following keywords on google.nl/images: OBD location + car brand + model + year of manufacture.

If you’re installing the TrackJack with wiring for power, switched power, and ground, please refer to the connection diagrams below:

   

Create an account and add the TrackJack code

After the system is installed, you can create an account and add the unique TrackJack code to your own online account. Then, you’ll go through the installation wizard to enter all vehicle details and test the system.
