A potential discrepancy can arise because measurements are taken in two ways. The car measures the odometer reading via the road surface. The TrackJack measures the odometer reading via GPS (through the air), which is generally the most accurate. This can cause a slight difference in mileage. Your tire pressure, weather conditions, and driving behavior can also make a difference.
To correct this discrepancy, you can enter a correction in the mileage. We recommend entering this correction regularly (every 2 to 3 months).
The difference in mileage is naturally known to the Tax and Customs Administration and meets the requirements of the Trip Registration Systems Quality Mark.
