TrackJack is not only used within Prior Personeelsdiensten for tax-related trip registration. The online account is also consulted for periodic speed checks and GPS tracking. Weekly, account managers check who has driven, whether all trips were authorized, and whether speeding occurred. “If we see that someone has driven too fast, we will address this with them. A fine for speeding is a waste of money and is deducted from the salary,” says Van Wijnen.
TrackJack is also a solution for GPS tracking. Van Wijnen: “Recently, an employee wanted to drive to his home abroad due to unforeseen circumstances. We saw through TrackJack that he was already halfway to Germany and asked him to turn back."
Driver identification
In early October, Prior Personeelsdiensten's fleet will be expanded again with six TrackJack systems, one of which will incorporate driver identification. Thanks to an ID reader in the vehicle and smart software, the trip logging system can identify the driver. This way, the driver's name is immediately displayed with the trip, even when multiple people are using the same vehicle.

Should the driver identification test prove successful, a similar installation may follow in multiple vehicles. Van Wijnen: “We recently consulted with the director to see what else is possible to make everything tax-compliant. Think of expanding TrackJack to multiple vehicles, driver identification, but also linking with fuel cards.” By linking a fuel card to the trip log, it becomes clear where and by whom fuel was purchased. Additionally, you can see whether driving was economical and whether the CO2 emissions correspond to the manufacturer's specifications.
