When KoffiePartners wanted to relieve all its drivers of the burden of manually keeping track of mileage in booklets in 2018, Gaby van Tricht opted for TrackJack. “On the one hand, we chose the system's possibilities, and on the other hand, it was financially attractive.”
That times have changed soon becomes apparent in the conversation with Gaby. “Michelle (editor's note: TrackJack employee) was then allowed to visit us, explained the system and gave a short training to everyone who had to use it.” All registration had to be organized more strictly, and there would be no exceptions. The sales team, the technicians, and delivery were all given the mileage registration system.
KoffiePartners provides its customers with every convenience regarding hot and cold beverages, within a radius of approximately 100 km around the head office in Zwijndrecht. “We go the extra mile. We deliver right into the kitchen cupboard, offer personal service, and a wide selection of machines and coffee brands. Taking the burden off our customers and making them happy—that is what we deliver as a company,” says Gaby.
One of the first things KoffiePartners wanted to make clear to its drivers when it started with automatic journey registration was that it was not at all based on mistrust. We try to make it as easy as possible for everyone. Our technicians and delivery drivers make many visits each day. This system saves a lot of time and frustration.
The basis of the collaboration is trip registration
The basis of the collaboration, which now numbers a fleet of 16 vehicles, is trip logging. It must be accurate for the tax authorities, should they be requested. Nevertheless, it is convenient that the track and trace capabilities are simply included. “If a customer calls to ask when a mechanic will arrive, we can quickly see where the vehicle is at that moment and provide a realistic estimate.”
Gaby does not use automatically emailed monthly reports. “The last bit of control I like to keep myself is creating and saving my own exports.”
Fortunately, not everything has changed over time.
