Alex Van Leeuwen and Marco van den Besselaar will mount their motorcycles at the end of this month for an unforgettable mission: Ride to Match. This sponsored ride will encompass a 2500-kilometer journey along the Dutch borders. But this is more than just a ride; it's a call to action, a chance to save lives. Alex and Marco want to raise awareness for stem cell donation by undertaking a massive motorcycle ride, with one goal: become a donor or donate! 

What is Ride to Match?

Ride to Match is an initiative that raises awareness of the importance of stem cell donation and how it can change lives. Alex and Marco's personal commitment makes this journey all the more urgent. Alex's nephew, only 13 years old, is battling MDS/AML and found a donor thanks to Matchis. But this story is not unique. Rachelle, a 3-year-old girl from Belgium, is also waiting for a match. Her life expectancy is in jeopardy, and she urgently needs a donor. And there are many more children and adults still waiting for a donor.
